System Requirements - Guild Wars Forums

Hello, I'm new to these boards and I haven't bought Guild Wars yet, but seriously considering it. I was wondering what the system requirements were, because I couldn't find them on the website. Could somebody please post them here or link me?..

I'm more looking for the video card and sound card requirements, I'm running on 2.8 ghz and 512 mb RAM, so I should be fine. I ran the software for GW just to see how well it ran. The beginning screen was quite choppy.

I don't know where to find my sound card, but my video ard is a GeForce2 MX400 or something of that sort. Could someone also tell me where to find my sound card specs?

You should be good, when you say its choppy, just try lowering the detail, it says im running 1.04 Ghz (lmao), but it's wrong and i know that. I'm about the same specs as you and im doing fine. Just try lowering the detail and maybe lowering the resolution to 800x600, it worked for me

I have no clue to find out what your sound card is.

It is in the "dxdiag" window that your RAM, video card info, etc. is in.

Start --> Run "dxdiag" --> Sound tab
